Tux FAQ

When should I start looking for tuxedos?
Once you have confirmed your wedding colours and wedding party we recommend you begin right away as some items may need to be special ordered.  We require the selection of items and measurements to be completed at least 3 months prior to your event 

Do I need an appointment?
Yes it is recommended.

What should I bring to my tuxedo appointment?
You will find it helpfull to bring swatches, if you have not purchased your dress(es) from Lisa's Bridal Salon, to illustrate your colour palette.

Who should come to the tuxedo appointment?
The bride and groom are the only people who are required at this time in order to make initial selections. Groomsmen can come in for measurements once the items have been selected.

Can the groom and groomsmen try on items?
As a client of Lisa's Bridal Salon, your groom will be dressed in both his and his groomsmen's attire to assist you in finalizing your selections.

If I have purchased my dress at Lisa's Bridal Salon, are there any benefits to booking with Leading Man Tuxedos?
Yes, package prices are available. Please see in store for details.

When should everyone get measured?
Once the booking has been made all member of the party should come in to be measured as soon as possible.  We require the selection of items and measurements to be completed at least 3 months prior to your event.  Measurements can be done in store or at any professional taylor and submitted to us by fax 604.540.8722 or email leadingmantux@telus.net.

When do I pickup my tuxedo?
Thursday and/or Friday by appointment only. Once your tuxedo has been assembled you will be contacted to confirm a pickup time.

When do I return my tuxedo?
Mondays between 11am and 3pm. In the case that we are closed Monday for a statutory holiday, tuxedos will be due back Tuesday by 3pm. If you are unable to return your tuxedo please make arrangements to have someone return it on your behalf as late charges will apply.
