Sales Manager
We are growing! Lisa’s Bridal & Leading Man Tuxedo is hiring for a new position to serve as our Full Time Sales Manager with a Tuesday through Sunday schedule. The Sales Manager will be responsible for running the daily boutique retail operations while managing, hiring and training for the sales team success of our growing store in collaboration with our leadership team. Based in New Westminster, BC, we pride ourselves in delivering wedding dreams for men and women for almost 50 years. The ideal candidate will bring a mature attitude for authentic customer connection and attracting new team members from your past luxury, wedding, high end retail experience. You will provide supportive leadership and mentorship for the entire Lisa’s Bridal Team through feedback, coaching, and proactive conflict resolution serving as escalation for sales and front desk team.
Day to day responsibilities include staff scheduling, sales floor supervision, team management and process coordination. The Sales Manager serves on the leadership team with the Co-Owner – Finance and the Co-Owner – Operations to maintain high customer satisfaction, sales revenue goal achievement and ensure that profitability is achieved in all decisions.
Coordinating with the Co-Owner - Operations in times of hiring needs, the Sales Manager facilitates the hiring process to strengthen the company culture through vetting and selection. The Sales Manager ensures that the team receives the training, access, tools and mentorship to provide for sales success and culture alignment of the entire team.
Showing up as sales authority, an inspiring trainer and creating multiple opportunities for access to deliver answers and guidance will ensure the company is able to scale and grow. Utilizing these skills to establish and maintain low attrition rates will contribute to your opportunities for bonuses.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for the following:
• Manage sales team to consistently meet or exceed individual and company sales goals.
• Manage front desk team in support of prioritizing customer experience and the
sales process.
• Hire, train, lead and manage staff for sales and front desk positions.
• Collaborate with leadership to serve clients, ensure profitability and cultivate the best culture for Lisa’s Bridal
• Manage floor appearance, staging and cleanliness in collaboration with Co-Owner-Operations.
• Facilitate scheduling of floor team including serving as back up during staff shortages.
• Review and manage front desk and sales process and procedures to gold
standard Lisa Bridal’s expectations. .
• Manage Key holder responsibilities and ensure building and property are open and closed in line with asset protection best practices.
• Facilitate, review and close out daily receipts to prepare deposit in collaboration with Co-Owner- Finance.
• Serve as customer service escalation from Sales Team and Front Desk and
collaborating with CO-O as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and professionalism in all interactions.
• Familiarize and stay current on products, services, rental vs. purchase, fit preferences, quality, processes to execute daily operations as the go-to expert and yield high customer satisfaction in collaboration with the CO-O.
• Assist in the office with administrative and support tasks as assigned
Requirements include:
• Team management experience of 10 or more – minimum 3 years
• Sales experience ideally in high end retail, wedding, formal or luxury clothing
• Strong experience mentoring/ coaching others in a sales process
• Team recruitment experience -2 years minimum
• Possess excellent time management and follow up skills
• Professional familiarity using online solutions for customer notes, sales tracking including project management software
• Demonstrate strong professional communication skills – written and verbal.
• Display professionalism and patience in all interactions.
• Reliable and consistent in demeanour and presence
• Self-motivated personality driven to achieve
Compensation: Lisa’s Bridal offers a competitive pay salary for this full-time salaried position that is eligible for bonuses. The position pays $60,000- 65,000 a year dependent upon experience. Benefits include Paid Time Off, paid holidays, and 50% paid toward your individual company medical and dental premium.
